My Fall Wish List
I love Polyvore. I could site and create outfits for hours. This outfit is inspired by this seasons burgundy colors and polka dots. I've been itching to buy this JCrew bracelet for awhile now and it's first on my list. What's on your Fall wish list?

Looks to Keep
Trends come and go, some stick around for awhile. Isn't it great when you can dig in the back of your closet and pull out last seasons trends that are still going strong? Here are a few trends from seasons past that you can still wear fashionably. Remember certain trends of this season, such as burgundy, polka dots, and saddle bags and combine two fall trends in one!
1) Peplums; on dresses or tops, dressed up or down, 2) Color-block; body slimming color-block sheath dresses are both stylish and flattering, 3) Capes; go for rich details like the black trim on one from JCrew, 4) Leather Sleeves; dressed up or down this blazer makes a statement, 5) Slipper Loafers; perfect for travel, tomboyish slip-ons look great with cropped jeans and are still big, 6) Envelope Clutch; still a hot accessory, 7) Cross-body bags; saddlebag versions are very popular.

Fall Fashion for the Budgetista
With every new season new trends emerge and if you're a fashionista like me, it means spending money. You don't have to spend a lot of money to be trendy, however. Just choose a few a your favorite new trends, like this Fall's satchels, polka dots, oxfords, cat eye sunglasses and burgundy colors and you can use the pieces with your current wardrobe. If you're going to splurge on anything, I tell my daughters to always invest in a good handbag, shoes, and sunglasses. Take care of these key pieces and they will last you years. Here are a few pieces that I found at reasonable prices and a few key pieces that are an investment so you get the idea.

Looks I'm Loving - Polka Dot Jeans
I'm loving Emma Roberts and Taylor Swift's polka dot jeans. These looks show how versatile dotted denim can be by styling it in two totally different ways. Emma is hipster-chic in a taupe tee, crossbody and sandals, while Taylor picks a preppy button-up and maroon loafers.
Another hot trend is combining orange and pink; here's how I would rock a pair of polka dot jeans and the pink/orange duo.

Pretty Polka Dots
Polka dots have made a strong comeback from spring/summer 2010 and it looks like they're here to stay. While polka dots may seem complicated, too young, or even too difficult to match, a few simple rules can help you transform any dull outfit into a chic, slightly retro and romantic look, even uber-feminine and sophisticated.
The key to polka dots, and the main rule, is to keep it simple - a dress, a skirt, a shirt or a blazer can be enough. If you're nervous about wearing polka dots at all, start by choosing only one accessory such as a scarf, a belt, a handbag and even shoes.
For an office summer look, a pleated dress will give you just the right amount of femininity and elegance. As for colors, a white dress with black dots is the best and safest choice. You can also match a black pleated skirt with white dots, a blouse with short sleeves and a bolero or a blazer. You can play a little bit and choose colored accessories especially.
For a night out with friends, match a pair of skinny jeans, a strapless breezy blouse with dots and high-heeled sandals, or team black high-waisted shorts and a red blouse with dots, and high heels.
For a more formal evening event, a '70s style black dress with white dots and high-heeled sandals is the perfect pair. Accessorize the outfit with a simple clutch and a pair of pearl earrings.
For Fall pair a pretty polka dot sweater with skinny jeans and boots or flats, or keep it simple and choose polka dot accessories like those below.
Whether you ready to dive into the pool or just get your toes wet, check out my finds from Polyvore.

Trends for Fall - Burgundy, Leather and Full Skirts
I know, I know, it's only the middle of August, but I've already got Fall fever, especially with some of the new fall trends. This fall look for burgundy colors, anything in black leather, and full skirts, like the pieces below. While I'm not crazy about the color burgundy, I found this sweater on Polyvore and I think I could pull it off with this cute skirt.
