High Five For Friday!

TGIF! Hope you had a great week. Here again is the five things that made my week special. What made your week memorable? Leave me a comment.

1. Jonnie and I ventured outside our comfort zone and went somewhere we'd never been to eat before; Asian Fusion Noodle House in Wilmington. Let me just say it was AMAZING and the coconut cake was to die for!


2. I went outlet shopping with my friend Joanne and got this navy polka dot shirt from JCrew.

, 3. I had an extra day to spend with Jonnie and the "pups"; this is the little one, "Leland."










4. Jonnie and I loved the Asian Fusion Noodle House so much, we went back again and had their coconut cake again!

5. Our friend, John, introduced me to Conundrum wine and that's how I ended my Thursday.

High Five For Friday!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. We had a lot of rain and I think I'm starting to grow webbed feet, but it's all good. Word is that webbed feet were seen on the fashion runways this season and are predicted to be hot this fall. Besides the webbed feet, here are the highlights of my week.

1. Jonnie's trip to San Francisco was cancelled and everyone in the household was very happy. These three are actually doing cartwheels in their head.

2. I received my first GLOSSYBOX!

 

3. I baked a Banana Split Cake and it was as delicious (and fattening) as it looks!

 

 4.I'm officially hooked on Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" CD.

 

5. I ordered this beautiful gold chain necklace from etsy!

High Five For Friday!

Happy Friday! I don't know about you but I've had a very busy week. It's also been raining - a lot and I could use a drink. Cheers friends! 





 

1. I had dinner with the girls at Sweet & Savory.

2. I indulged in a Belgian Chocolate Brownie Meltdown.

3. My fashion "bibles" hit newsstands.

4. I hung out with the kids.

5. I hung out at the Southport marina with my family.

1. I discovered Kringle candles at New River Pottery and purchased the Watercolor scent. Kringle combined lavish floral notes and sweet fruit accords with a just-right counterpoint of sandalwood and musk to create this lovely scent.

2. I got my hair trimmed!

3. I had frozen yogurt at Honey Bee's with my friend's Joanne & George.

4. I had lunch at The George on the Riverwalk with my friend and neighbor, Tina Abbott.

5.  I received my new book Dare, Dream, Do: Remarkable Things Happen When You Dare to Dream by Whitney Johnson from Amazon.
